A natural approach to a life well-lived
Integrative bodywork and energy healing for deep restoration—
guided by intuition, supported by training, and designed to help the body return to balance.
East Flora
East Flora is a private studio devoted to the art of returning—
to the body, to rhythm, to a quieter way of being.
Here, sessions are not pre-designed.
Each treatment unfolds in real time,
blending therapeutic bodywork, energy healing, and traditional practices
based on what your body is holding—and what it is ready to release.
Clients often come for relaxation.
They return because something deeper begins to shift.
The Work
Rather than choosing from a menu of modalities,
you simply choose the amount of time you’d like to receive.
From there, everything is guided.
Techniques are woven intuitively—
supporting the nervous system, easing physical tension,
and creating space for the body to reset.
Most clients find that one session feels good.
A rhythm of sessions allows the work to compound.
Mochani
East Flora was founded by Mochani—
bodyworker, Reiki Master, and student of traditional healing systems.
Her approach is shaped by both clinical training and lived lineage—
bridging the physical and the subtle with care and precision.
Her name, Mochani, means liberation.
Not as an idea,
but as a quiet process the body moves through when it is supported over time.

A Living Body of Study
Her work is informed by ongoing study across both clinical and traditional systems:

(Cedar Stone School of Massage, 757 hrs — in progress)
Full Spectrum Doula (Birth in Color)
Ayurvedic Marma Therapy (with Vasant Lad)
Yoga & Meditation, RYT 200 (Satchidananda Ashram)
Restorative Yoga (with Diane Malaspina)
Reiki III Mastership (Empowering Alchemy)
Herbalism & Ethnobotany (Cornell University)
B.I.S. World & Textiles Studies, Minor in Art History (Virginia Commonwealth University)
What Sets This Work Apart
A devotion to both the physical and the subtle.
Where technique is guided by presence,
and each session is shaped by the body—not a protocol.
This is not a one-time experience.
It is a place to return,
again and again—
as the body softens, recalibrates, and restores.
