Mother & Baby Care

A gentle place for the earliest seasons of motherhood.

The transition into motherhood is one of the most profound changes a person can experience.

Alongside the physical recovery of birth, there is the unfolding relationship between mother and baby, a process of learning one another through touch, rest, feeding, sleep, and presence.

Mother & Baby Care at East Flora is designed to support this season through gentle, relationship-centered care for both mother and child.

A Different Approach

Rather than focusing on symptoms alone, these sessions create space for settling, regulation, and connection.

Care may support:

  • postpartum recovery

  • nervous system regulation

  • feeding and bonding challenges

  • birth integration

  • transitions in sleep and development

  • tension patterns within the body

  • the emotional adjustments of early motherhood

Each session is personalized and guided by the needs of the mother, baby, or dyad.

Infant Craniosacral Therapy

Gentle hands-on support for babies.

Using a light, non-invasive touch, infant craniosacral therapy seeks to support the body's natural ability to settle and regulate after pregnancy and birth.

Sessions may be sought for:

  • birth strain

  • feeding difficulties

  • digestive discomfort

  • unsettled sleep

  • tension patterns

  • general wellbeing and regulation

Babies remain clothed and are welcome to feed, sleep, cry, or be held throughout the session.

Mother–Baby Sessions

Care for both mother and baby together.

These sessions recognize that the wellbeing of mother and child are deeply interconnected.

Treatment may include gentle craniosacral work, nervous system support, restorative touch, and space for both mother and baby to receive care within the same session.

Many families seek these sessions during the first year after birth, though they may be supportive beyond that period as well.
